Pet Oral Strips OEM and ODM Services

Compare private label, custom formulation, packaging and compliance-support routes for a pet oral dissolving film program.

Scientists evaluating custom pet oral dissolving film

Choose the right development path before you buy packaging

Private label and custom formulation are different commercial routes. A private-label program starts from a technically established platform and adapts agreed elements such as flavor direction, film color, pack count and artwork. A custom ODM program starts with a target brief and requires feasibility work around active load, film-forming materials, taste, dimensions, stability, species and destination market. We begin by clarifying what the product is expected to do, where it will be sold and what evidence will support the intended language. This prevents a visually attractive pack from being developed around a formula that cannot be manufactured consistently or described compliantly. The output of discovery is a written project path, open decisions, sample scope and the information needed for an accurate quotation.

Private label pet oral strips for a faster brand launch

A private-label route is designed for brand teams that value speed and controlled choice. The process uses a proven film platform as the starting point, then confirms species, flavor, color direction, film dimensions, sachet structure, carton count and destination market. Common films are 2 × 2 cm, with project-dependent dimensions up to 2 × 3.5 cm. Standard retail configurations contain 20 or 30 individually wrapped strips. “Faster” does not mean automatic approval: ingredient status, label wording and importer requirements still need a market-specific check. Buyers receive a clear specification before commercial production, including the agreed packaging hierarchy and batch documents in scope. This path is usually the most efficient option for a new brand testing a focused range.

Custom formulation for differentiated pet oral films

Custom formulation begins with a benefit territory rather than a copied ingredient list. Scientists evaluate candidate ingredients against oral-film load, solubility or dispersion, taste impact, moisture sensitivity, compatibility with the film matrix and intended species. Dog and cat projects are not treated as interchangeable. Prototype work can compare film texture, appearance, handling and palatability direction before a final specification is locked. Exact ingredient amounts are not published as generic web claims because they depend on safety, target market and the finished product’s intended use. The team records decisions so the commercial product can be traced back to an approved brief. Where an ingredient or claim creates uncertainty, the formula or positioning is revised before artwork and production commitments.

Packaging customization that protects a moisture-sensitive format

Packaging is part of the delivery system. Individual foil sachets help isolate each strip from humidity and handling, while inner pouches, cartons and inserts create the retail and logistics hierarchy. Projects can use a 20- or 30-strip carton, sample packs, grouped inner pouches and custom printed outer boxes. We review sachet dimensions, tear behavior, material barrier, coding area, artwork, carton fit and shipping conditions together. The buyer can provide print-ready files or request coordinated design support. Artwork is proofed only after formula and label content are stable enough to avoid rework. Sustainability preferences are considered alongside barrier and shelf-life needs; no material is described as “eco-friendly” without a defined basis.

Documentation and export coordination are agreed by project

Documentation is scoped to the finished product, manufacturing arrangement and destination market. A typical project can include a finished-product specification, batch certificate of analysis, selected raw-material specifications, test records, artwork proof and packing list. Additional safety, stability, free-sale, origin or importer documents depend on what is applicable and available. Hytanbio does not promise that one document set makes a product legal in every country. The brand owner and importer remain responsible for final market placement, registrations and label acceptance, supported by the technical information generated during development. Export coordination covers the agreed incoterm, pack-out, shipping marks and handover records so the commercial batch matches the approved project file.
